Edo Ekefrey
Edo Ekefrey is a self-taught pencil portrait artist whose creative journey began at the age of 14 or 15. Initially introduced to art through painting with his father, it wasn’t until a few years later that he discovered his true passion for pencil drawing.
His first significant breakthrough came when he sketched a portrait of the American rap artist 50 Cent, which left him astonished by his own ability and marked the beginning of his career as a pencil artist.

Without formal training or mentorship, Edo attributes his artistic talent to a natural gift, believing that his abilities were divinely inspired. He has spent years honing his craft, focusing on creating highly detailed, realistic pencil portraits that capture both the likeness and the essence of his subjects. His work is characterized by the precision and emotion conveyed through simple yet powerful use of graphite.
As a self-taught artist, Edo has continuously learned through observation and engagement with other artists, developing his own unique style along the way. His art is a reflection of his dedication, passion, and the joy of self-discovery through creation.
Edo has been creating art for nearly his entire life, with pencil portraits being his primary medium of expression. Each piece he creates represents a personal exploration of skill, emotion, and the beauty of simplicity.
